Why is it that some people can be very successful in business, the wheels and the amazing traders still manage to get the “look” completely wrong? Now, you just see the difference between men and women departments in your local stores, part of the problem, compare. Women are constantly changing, vast selection of brand available – whatever their age, whatever their budget. To say that men have a limited selection, what is less obvious.

In sportswear, the problem is bad enough, but for businesses it can be a real fight. If you wear business suits for work, day after day, it is easy to become complacent. Or, dare I say boring! And while the costumes are generally safe, they can become a breeding ground for terrible mistake.

The good news is that you do not necessarily spend a fortune on your wardrobe. Two high quality of work suits and a tuxedo classic you many miles with a small selection of the right accessories and shoes, and a few large shirts.

If a man owns a variety of colors in his wardrobe, it is difficult to take something every day. Here are fabulous shirts and accessories from a bright white shirt, maybe a tie with pink stripes. Or a shirt with blue stripes and white with a solid binding in a darker shade of blue. And as a silk tie red bow, to brighten a dull day. Keep the links new for Christmas and avoid the pattern on shape. A tie striped or patterned is best worn with a simple shirt, and vice versa.

Confused? My suggestion is that you study women executives in your office. See what works and what does not economic in a broader context. Costumes, elegant fashion jewelry and leather? Or dresses with collars and pieces flowing clompy shoes? Do not worry I do not recommend cross-dressing, but to recognize women leaders to impress, that – in desktop mode, at least – it’s all about the style of dress of the substance. This is a great lesson to take on board.
